I don’t think any of the ones I keep returning to are necessarily “classics” – but I’ve never been a real traditional girl
“Shantaram” by Gregory David Roberts is a book I have read about 5 times and I just keep coming back to over and over again.
And poetry by LaDonna Witmer is a soothing reminder of why I exist and I will never stop reading and discovering new things within her heartfelt words.
I love that you’re not a traditional girl!
I read the Chronicles of Narnia once every year or so and enjoy The Giving Tree and Where the Wild Things Are more than most classics
